Hello, my name is Carlee (but online I’m known as Lirae) and I am a bit of a piercing addict with a slight tendency to spend too much money. I am 24 years old and I live in the South West of England with my family. I have a boyfriend called Myke, who I have been with since September 23^rd 2007.

In person, I’m not exactly what you would call “intimidating”: I stand at a teeny tiny and super cute “4 feet, 10 inches and a bit” tall. Unsurprisingly, I get called “cute” a lot. I don’t mind being called cute one bit and am more than happy to play up to my cuteness. This is kind of helped along because I’m a bit…clumsy: I trip over my own feet, I walk into things a lot, I fall up and down the stairs on a regular basis and I’m forever dropping things. Apparently “Small + Clumsy = Very Cute”.

I over think and over analyse pretty much every interaction with everyone I meet. If I’m worried about something, I don’t let it go and it will consume my thoughts until I find something else to worry about. The same applies if something is bothering me in other ways.
If I’m supposed to go out (i.e. – clubbing, to the cinema, shopping, etc), I have to know all details about the event, such as: time to get there, time it finishes, who will be there, what EXACTLY will we be doing, where EXACTLY we will be going, etc. If I don’t have all of the details I feel I need, I start getting stressed and will worry about it. If it’s really getting to me, I will just refuse to go. I am not a spur-of-the-moment girl. I am also not a control freak, even though I totally sound like one.

I will be getting more mods done but I have yet to decide what I want and where I want it.

I like music. I prefer loud, heavy music but I also like the chilled out stuff too. My favourite bands are: Linkin Park (both old AND new stuff – I am a PROPER FAN, people!), Breaking Benjamin and Mumford & Sons. But I also like Lady Gaga, Tinchy Stryder and Chase & Status, so my taste is somewhat varied.

I also like to take photographs^{^} but I don’t think I’m very good at it. My boyfriend feels differently, however, and bought me a Lumix G1 camera^{^} as a birthday present in 2009. I love my camera but don’t use it very often, as I’m scared I’ll break it; I instead use my BlackBerry Curve 8520 or Nikon Coolpix S3000. I do bring out my Lumix G1 for special occasions or when I’m taking photographs of my kittens.

By day, I work as an Admin Assistant for a large Training Provider in the South West. I enjoy my job and have been doing it since May 2008.

I have been blogging since April 2004. I used to just use my blog to complain about EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. I have since grown out of that and just talk about the stuff that’s going on in my life or anything else that interests me. Less complaining and less whining.
