About Lirae

Hello, my name is Lirae and I am a bit of a piercing addict with a slight tendency to spend too much money.

You know how most teenagers go through a phase where they’re really clumsy and socially awkward and stuff? Well, I kinda forgot to grow out of that. :P I fall over and trip up on a regular basis, usually on one of my own feet.
I come off as quite rude and abrasive when I first meet people but anyone who’s known me for a while will know that it’s my crunchy exterior and that, underneath, I’m a nice person really!

Outwardly, I look young for my age (I think I look twelve!) due to the fact that I have a small, round face and that I’m 4ft 10in.
I have long, almost waist-length hair which is a cross between wavy and straight. It’s naturally brown but I currently dye it black.

As you can see from the photo at the top of the page, I have a few piercings.
Currently, I have: 5x lobe piercings, 1x conch piercing and 1x helix piercing in my left ear^ and 5x lobe piercings, 1x conch piercing and 1x anti-helix piercing in my right ear^. I’m also stretching the first hole in both earlobes; I’m currently at 2.5mm / 10ga (from 0.8mm / 20ga). In addition to my ear peircings, I also have my navel, right nostril, lip (central labret) and nape (back of my neck) pierced^ and I also have a dermal anchor set between my collarbones (as seen in the photo ;) ). I don’t have any new piercings planned yet but I’m thinking about getting dermal anchors done on my middle fingers…
So far, I have one tattoo; a three-leaf clover on the inside of my left wrist. I’m hoping to get a set of three swallows done on my right foot by the end of 2010, to mark the deaths of three of my family members.

Holding Killer

I don’t have any children but I am “mummy” to a Russian Dwarf Hamster who I decided to call “Killer”.
I’ve owned many hamsters before and they’ve all been cute, furry little psychopaths. Killer is not like this; despite being of a breed which is known as *evil*, Killer has a good temperment and he allows me to pick him up and love him and torment him as I please, which is great.
In February 2009, my friend, Matt, needed to go out to a pet shop to pick out cat food for his mother. While he was picking the cat food he needed, I went over to look at the hamsters and I saw Killer – it was love at first sight! I asked one of the sales assistants to grab him for me and I purchased him. Needless to say, my mother wasn’t too pleased when I suddenly phoned her up, asking her if we still had any hamster cages hanging about…
Killer is now one of the family and I think even my mum likes him…
