About The Site

This site is primarily a personal blog (weblog) and since I’m super narcissistic, I chose to name my site after myself. :)

Actually, this domain was bought with the intention of it being a sort of collective / portfolio. Obviously, that never happened.

Lirae.co.uk/.net is hosted by Surpass^ and all of my domains have been purchased from GoDaddy^.
This domain has been around and open since July 21st 2006 but I’ve had sites since January 2004 (never-his.org, yummyrae.net, earwordssway.org, rock-the-socks.net, etc).

I use CuteFTP 8 Professional^ to upload my files to my site, pages have been coded in good ol’ Notepad and graphics have been made in Adobe Photoshop^ (version 7 and CS3). Photographs have been taken using my camera phones (LG Chocolate, Nokia N73, LG KS360 or Orange Vegas), my Kodak EasyShare C743 digital camera, my Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd digital camera or my Panasonic Lumix G1 digital camera.

The Layout

Um. I kinda missed my old layouts; the ones where I used like, a bajillion brushes and stuff. So I decided to go back to that for a little while because I’m a bit bored of doing simple layouts. :P All the brushes in the header are my own. If you want them, you can download them from the Photoshop 7 Brushes page.
The font used for the header text (and some other image texts around the site…) is called “Formfound.com”, which I downloaded from Dafont.com^.
The whole theme was created by butchering the butchered previous theme which was butchered from the previous theme which was butchered from the default theme for WordPress. ;)
