Enough!

We were forcasted to get around 4in of snow today. Instead, we got 1in of ucky brown sludge, with a nice “underlay” of ice. Brilliant.

The whole snow and ice thing was cool last week, especially when it was all fresh and lovely looking. Not so cool now though – it’s become increasingly ucky and dangerous and I’m probably going to end up breaking a bone or – even worse – spraining my other ankle too.

Snow Day!

Posted on Wednesday, January 6th, 2010 at 3:20pm.

I’ve lived in Plymouth for 13 years now and during that time, I had only had one – yes, ONE – snow day. Until today…
(Although, when I was in College, we DID manage to talk our teachers into letting us go home at half day because of the snow…but that doesn’t really count.)

I got to work this morning – just got in the front door – to be told to turn around and go back home because of the bad weather. WOOHOO! SNOW DAY NUMBER 2!

Snow 2010

I almost don’t mind getting up and into work for nothing. :)

(Oh yeah – HI 2010!)

Yum

I finally – after almost a decade of wanting – got my labret pierced. This was a little over three weeks ago (I got it done on a Saturday).

On Friday, work decided they didn’t like it and they wanted me to remove it.
Long story short, I’ve been “hiding” my labret piercing by wearing a clear retainer but without screwing on the ball (until home time when, basically, I’ll do whatever the hell I please).

Earlier, I had my lunch and was sat in the staff room picking at my teeth with my tongue. I went to play with the back of the piercing, like I’ve been doing for over three weeks now, and…well, I couldn’t find the stud.

I must have swallowed it.
