30th June = my birthday. My 21st birthday.
I woke up, opened my presents (I got a bunch of ’21st birthday’ keys and other ’21st birthday’ things) and my cards (I love money
), then watched TV until 6pm.
Then we went out for a meal (my mum and brother’s idea).
The restaurant we went to didn’t do anything I eat, so I asked for a cheese salad and ended up eating my own weight in cheese.
After the desserts, my mum started videoing me on her mobile phone, asking me if I had a good day…then the music suddenly went really loud. I looked around and there is a waiter, coming towards me, holding a cake. With a candle on. A 21st candle. And then everyone in the restaurant started singing ‘happy birthday’ to me.
So embarrassing! The cake is lovely though (still eating it! It was huge!).
After the meal, we went down to the pub where my mum works. I remember playing darts against my mum, brother, sister and stepdad and I also remember playing my first game of Pool against my brother but don’t remember who won anything. (I should have won all of the darts games because I used to play for a team. But I was drunk, so my aim would have been off.)
I thought Sam and my dad would completely forget my birthday (my dad did it last year and I doubt Sam can remember his own birthday) but they both shocked me by wishing me a happy birthday.
It was a good day.

Yesterday, I had a job interview. I think it went quite well but won’t know if I got the job until this evening or on Thursday. Cross your fingers for me!
