A few years ago (okay, like, FIVE), there was a TV series called “A Haunting In” and each episode featured a different State.
First, I watched “A Haunting In Georgia” which was totally not scary. It must have had no effect on me because I don’t really remember anything from it (I think it was about a small boy and his imaginary friend, who happened to be the ghost of an old man?).
The next episode, which was called “A Haunting In Connecticut”, was on straight after “A Haunting In Georgia”.
I watched it. By the end of the episode, I was in the furthest corner of the couch. I ended up phoning my mum and begging her to come back home.
I was 17 years old and already watched some pretty scary films in my time.
A couple of years on, I was talking to Matt and he was telling me about this really scary programme on TV which he’d seen the night before. He couldn’t remember what it was called but told me some of the stuff that happened. I recognised it as “A Haunting In Connecticut” and we laughed about how scared it made us.
A few years after that, a film has recently been released. Called “A Haunting In Connecticut” and from what I’ve read, it appears to be the film version of that TV show I watched.
Either way, Myke and I are going to watch it and I can’t wait. I just hope it IS the film version of that TV show and I hope it scares me as much now as it did then!

I really love ghost films, and I’m still looking for one that’ll scare the **** out of me (because I haven’t ever seen a ghost/scary film that totally did frighten me) so I’ll definitely go see it if it comes out here
I saw the film last night and IT SUCKED SO BAD. It made Mirrors look good. -_-
If you want to watch something to scare the **** out of you, get hold of the documentary I mentioned; “A Haunting In Connecticut”. It came out in 2002 and it was aired on the Discovery channel at some point.
It’s the only thing that’s scared me so far, lol.
Hmm, that’s really too bad! >>
I haven’t seen Mirrors yet, but I heard it’s ******* hilarious XD a B-film with a large budget, which automatically makes me think of The Haunting
I’ll try if I can get a hold of a torrent, I’d like to see that
Hi Li! Don’t know if you remember me, but ahh well
Figured I’d comment either way.
I happened to see the movie version as well… no good horror films come out any more, really. Especially not from the US. If you ever really want to laugh at a “scary” movie, I’d suggest watch the Unborn… it was terrible xD Anyways, I might have to go rent that documentary sometime :]
“Teeth” and “Mirrors” are probably just as laughable as Unborn is. I’ll see if I can get hold of it though!
And yep – I remember you!
Hi thurr!
Hahaaaa I heard about Teeth, I’ve been meaning to see it for a while
& yeahh, I wasn’t quite sure, as it’s been quite a while :]
My sister watched it (Teeth) and told me that it was SO AWESOME and I HAD to watch it!!1~
So Myke and I watched it together and well…he basically sat there crossing his legs and wincing the whole time. And we BOTH sat there and watched it with our mouths wide open like “Oh. My. God.” haha.
hahaaa I bet!! I’ve never even seen it in a video store, so I’ve never been able to get it, but my manager was talking about it at work the other day, and now I’m definitely getting the urge to find it.
What’s that movie? I want creepy movies! ive been a fan of thingies like that since forever. teehee.
thanks for sharing that!
I saw the film, and I actually enjoyed it. Not because it scared the **** out of me (believe me, it takes a lot to scare me) but because it was just interesting.
I actually found that the dishes being thrown across the room was scarier then the whole dead bodies in the wall thing. What? Dead bodies fall out of my walls all the time … I’m no freak! xD
I have yet to find a film that actually scared me. Well, except for The Day After Tomorrow, but that only scared me because it can actually happen and I’m a big chicken **** for science-y ****. Fail.
