I spent all of yesterday working on EasyAsk&Answer. A few new features have been added and I’ve given the admin panel a sexy new look.

I’ve also improved the search feature: when you enter multiple words, it searches for questions and answers with one or more of those words in. Before, it would only search for questions and answers with all of those words in.

Oh and it also has an RSS feed for it now, since everything these days is syndicated. *Whistles* I learnt how to make a dynamic Atom feed today and I’ll probably add that to the script too…probably.

The newest version isn’t up for download yet; just as I was getting to bed last night, I thought of something I really wanted to add…and I’ve forgotten what it was.
Since it’s still waiting to be released, if there’s anything you’d like me to add or improve, either comment on this entry or contact me with the suggestion and I’ll try to make it happen.

There might be more but I got bored.

I know having your feed ripped and then reproduced on some other site is a pretty normal thing for blogs, (I had it done to me when I had never-his.org) but I’m wondering if there’s a way to stop it from happening; I’ll probably be the one getting penalised in search engines for duplicate content.

At the moment, my fighting back method is to include a copyright notice, a link to the homepage of my site and a link to the actual entry but I’m thinking there’s probably a better way to fight back.
Any ideas?

Beaten up and stomped on

My brother came home on Friday while I was sitting on the floor, eating my dinner (I was watching a TV show…lol). He was looking down at me and I thought he was giving me a dirty look.

He went past me and into the kitchen, where my mum was. Then I heard Why have you got a black eye? WHO have you been fighting with?!, so I went running into the kitchen to see what she was talking about.

The right side of Josh’s face was bruised, the front of his right ear was black and behind the ear and side of his head was black and bumpy.

Some kid had started a fight with him while he was on Honicknowle road. He beat the crap out of this kid, so the kid got his friends to beat my brother up.

What? Not ‘hard’ enough to beat someone up yourself, so you have to get all of your pathetic little friends to join in, to make sure your side won? LOL.
